History of Carolinanet

Carolinanet was started in 1999 under the name of Guilford Communications, Inc. as a carrier neutral telecom colocation facility provider. The founders of Carolinanet had deep roots in the Piedmont Triad with a history of successful business ventures and community involvement. Since the, Carolinanet has expanded to provide web and application server co-location as well as managed, dedicated, and shared web hosting services to companies throughout the southeast.

Our core business provides web hosting and colocation services to businesses and private individuals around the globe. We have clients in the UK, Europe, and the USA. We specialize in providing flexible, high capacity, low cost dedicated server facilities for hosting companies and ISP's and also provide business class hosting services to companies and individuals.
